Immerse yourself in research!
Summer College – Research Immersion Program (SCRIP) students work closely with research faculty on existing and new faculty led research projects both online and on campus. This highly selective program affords small cohorts of students the opportunity to gain college-level research experience. In some cases, this begins with the design of the assessment tool and in all cases, students are involved in the collection and analysis of data which culminates in a final presentation.
Following successful conclusion of their research course, students will be able to include their participation in the research projects on their resumes and, in some cases, students may be included as contributing authors in final research publications.
Eligibility
High school students who are 15 years or older by their program start date are eligible to attend Summer College – Research Immersion Programs. Students who have graduated high school are also eligible if they are not matriculating into Syracuse University in the fall.
