Explore course options in Syracuse University’s homes on the east or west coast! The Office of Pre-College Programs has expanded to include a commuter program at the Syracuse University Los Angeles academic center and the Fisher Center in NYC. Click on the course to learn more!
All credit courses in the Pre-College portfolio are considered Dual Enrollment. At Syracuse University, Dual Enrollment is defined as a high school student who is taking an on-campus or online college course and receives college credit for the course and may also receive high school credit for the course. Each high school has its own policy on dual enrollment. It is important to discuss your plans to take an on-campus class with your school counselor to determine if dual credit will be given.

- Experimental Drawing for Portfolio (July 7 – Aug. 25, 2025)
- Newhouse Summer Immersion in LA (July 21 – 25, 2025)
Eligibility
- High school grade level: Rising junior or senior students. (Sophomore students allowed depending on the course.)
- Commuter students, only: Must be able to commute to and from the Los Angeles academic center daily.
