Additional Summer College Scholarship Opportunities

The Office of Pre-College Programs partners with multiple schools and colleges at Syracuse University to offer a limited number of merit-based scholarships. These scholarships are available to all students (including international students) and are applicable to all summer college courses. Interested students should complete the additional merit essay on their application and write about the contribution they will make to their selected course. The merit scholarship deadline is March 1, but funds are awarded on a rolling basis and may therefore be fully expended prior to that date so early application submission is encouraged.

  • S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication Scholarships
Students could be awarded up to $250 in merit scholarship funding. We are partnering with Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communication to support their diversity and inclusion initiatives with a limited number of scholarships reserved for high achieving students with considerable financial need to enroll in any of our Summer College courses offered out of the Newhouse School (see the chart below). This opportunity is for students with interests in advertising, communication, broadcast and digital journalism, television and radio production, and related fields.
