Syracuse University offers a wealth of academic support centers including tutoring centers, ITS, and the Center for Disability Resources. We want our high school students to have a successful experience online or on campus, and these resources are available to help.

The Writing Center

Become a stronger, more accomplished writer. Each year, thousands of Syracuse University students from various academic and cultural backgrounds visit the Writing Center for help with a wide range of writing projects. The Writing Center offers synchronous and asynchronous online appointments as well as on campus appointments.

Syracuse University Libraries

For on campus students, there are two main libraries on Syracuse University’s campus: Bird Library and Carnegie Library. While the libraries offer books and a quiet place to study, it also houses many librarians who are there to help you utilize databases and find research for your next essay or project.

Information Technology Services (ITS)

Syracuse University is home to its own Information Technology Services (ITS). ITS provides a variety of in-person and online services and support options for pre-college students students. ITS offers technology assistance if you have trouble accessing your courses, logging into Blackboard, navigating web conferencing, getting connected to wifi, and more.

Syracuse University Campus Store

Living on campus? Need to purchase your textbooks or rent a MicroFridge? Forgot to buy snacks or a toothbrush? Want to purchase Syracuse apparel? The Syracuse University Campus Store is where you can find all of your “home away from home” items, SU clothing, gifts, textbooks, and more. The Syracuse University Campus Store is also where you rent a MicroFridge (microwave, freezer, refrigerator combination) for your dorm room during your stay on campus.
